❤️ Welcome to VIOLAN

VIOLAN – a felt that has been a part of my journey for a long time. Now, a new chapter begins.

It’s wonderful to have you here and that you’ve discovered VIOLAN.

VIOLAN has been with me for many years. I have worked with the felt, developed products from it, experimented with new shapes, and consistently experienced how versatile it can be. Over time, it became more than just a material I enjoy working with.

When the opportunity arose for me to give VIOLAN a new future, I didn't have to think twice. I wanted VIOLAN to continue.

Now a new chapter is beginning – and I am very much looking forward to shaping it myself.

In my workshop in Hof, I am gradually creating products for your home and everyday life out of VIOLAN: seat cushions for classic and modern chairs, coasters, placemats, table runners, desk pads, and much more yet to come.

And because VIOLAN shouldn't just be for my own ideas, you can also purchase the felt from me by the meter or as cut-to-size pieces. Perhaps you have long had an idea of your own that you would like to bring to life with it.

🧵 From experience comes something new

For many years, I have been crafting felt products in my workshop. I cut, laser, sew, experiment, occasionally discard an idea, and develop it further until it truly feels right to me.

I want to bring this experience to VIOLAN.

VIOLAN is not intended to be a huge, impersonal shop. My wish is for a carefully curated collection of products that I can personally stand behind – with clean lines, a beautiful texture, and craftsmanship where even the smallest details are right.

✨ VIOLAN for sitting, living, and working

VIOLAN is used to create products that fit seamlessly into your home.

This includes seat and bench cushions, felt coasters, placemats, and table runners, as well as desk pads and other products for your workspace.

A particular focus will be on matching seat cushions for well-known chair designs. For this, I am working intensely on measurements, contours, and proportions so that a simple piece of felt becomes a cushion that harmoniously complements the shape of the chair.

❤️ Personally crafted in Hof

I am the face behind VIOLAN.

I craft many of the products myself in my workshop in Hof, Upper Franconia. From the initial design and cutting to the finished order, I oversee the product personally.

For me, what matters most is care, quality, functionality, and a design that you can enjoy for a long time.

VIOLAN is still at the very beginning of its new chapter. In the coming months, new products, shapes, and colors will be added.
