Important information regarding shipping to EU countries
Unfortunately, I too must suspend direct shipping to most EU countries for the time being.
The reason for this is the new European requirements regarding the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), which will apply from August 12, 2026. Cross-border shipping may involve registration, participation, and other obligations in the respective EU member states.
For a small online shop like StoffAkzente, the associated organizational and financial burden is unfortunately not economically feasible at this time.
Orders from other EU countries are, of course, still very welcome.
Shipping is still possible if a German delivery address is provided when placing the order. The billing address can, of course, remain in another EU country.
This is not an easy decision for me to make. The European Single Market should actually make it possible for even small businesses to easily supply customers in our neighboring countries.
I therefore very much hope that practical and affordable solutions for small retailers will be created in the near future so that I can once again ship my products directly to other EU countries in the future.
